Contact VSD engineers for practical UK support

Contact New Start Energy’s VSD engineers when you need help with a variable speed drive fault, planned repair, temporary drive hire, preventive maintenance or an industrial automation project. Our team supports manufacturing, utilities, building services, marine operations and other motor-driven applications across the UK.

For urgent production problems, call 0330 153 9188. Attendance and response depend on engineer availability, travel, safe access and the equipment required. For planned work, use the form above or email info@newstartenergy.co.uk.

Information to send our engineers

Clear equipment information helps us assess the likely scope before discussing repair, replacement or hire options. Where it is safe to do so, include:

  • The drive manufacturer, model and serial number
  • Motor current, voltage and power from the nameplate
  • The displayed fault code and what happened before the trip
  • Photographs of the drive, panel and motor nameplates
  • The application, control method and site postcode
  • Your required production or attendance window

Do not open energised equipment or bypass safety interlocks to collect information.

Choose the right service

If a drive failure has stopped a critical process, visit Emergency VSD Support. If temporary equipment may keep production running, review our Emergency VSD Hire service. For workshop diagnostics, maintenance and engineered replacement options, see our Variable Speed Drive services.

For PLC migrations, control-system modifications and legacy equipment risks, visit PLC Upgrades and Obsolescence Management. We will confirm the proposed engineering scope before work begins.

Planned engineering enquiries

For non-urgent work, tell us whether the requirement is an inspection, repair, replacement, commissioning visit, maintenance contract or automation upgrade. Include the preferred dates, production constraints and whether drawings, software backups or spare equipment are available. We will review the information and confirm the next practical step rather than assuming a standard scope.
