What is included ?

Where agreed, the hire service can include enclosure, isolation, cabling and control interfaces, delivery, installation, commissioning, support during the hire period and planned removal after permanent reinstatement. Availability and response depend on the required rating, configuration, location and engineer availability.

When temporary drive hire is appropriate

A hire drive can provide a controlled short-term solution when a critical VSD has failed, a replacement has a long lead time or planned refurbishment would otherwise stop production. It may also support a scheduled shutdown, commissioning activity or temporary increase in capacity where the engineering requirements are understood.

Technical checks before mobilisation

Correct selection depends on more than motor power. Our engineers review supply voltage, full-load current, overload duty, motor type, application, control signals, communications, enclosure requirements and environmental conditions. The proposed arrangement must also account for isolation, protection, cabling, cooling, safe access and commissioning.
